Thank you to our Year 11 students who have recently been interviewed for places at Penketh College. Staff have been very impressed with your interview techniques and the positive comments you have made about your time at Penketh. We have had record numbers of applicants this year and are looking forward to a vibrant and thriving intake for 2010. Interviews should be completed by the end of the week and letters of acceptance will be distributed before Friday 5th March.

The Christmas Party this year for the children of Green Lane School, was organised by Hannah Phillips and Jess Thomas, the College Charity Managers, supported by James Astley and Matt O’Brien, Heads of College, members of the College Committee and the Sixth Form College students.

Congratulations! The following have been selected to participate in the Mock Council of the European Union; Ryan Major, Adam Peers, Nisha Khaira and Rachel McMichael. The Mock Council meeting will take place on Wednesday 3 February 2010 in the Council Chambers at the Manchester Town Hall in Albert Square.
