May I also take this opportunity to reaffirm the procedures for reporting all college and work placements absences. I am sure you will agree the importance of good communication and a clear knowledge as to the where about of your child at all times.

Therefore in the event of an absence parents/guardians are informed that it is essential that Penketh High School is rang prior to 8.45 am on the day of the absence. This will be recorded on our systems by the Attendance Officer who will then inform the appropriate college/work placement.
