On 5^th February the Science Club visited the Catalyst Museum to attend a lecture given by Professor John Kilcoyne. This involved plenty of fizzes, bangs and explosions.

It was a spectacular lecture and all pupils met the professor and were given signed autographs. Whilst at the Catalyst Museum they also had the opportunity to watch and take part in an interactive film on the work of the chemical industry.  Pupils had to make decisions for the chemical engineers and other scientists involved in the chemical processes.

The club is also attending the Big Bang Science Fair on March 12^th, when they will be watching an hour long edition of 'Brainiac Live.'
