MATHS students at Birchwood High School joined forces with those from Penketh High to get in some extra revision for their GCSEs.

Around 40 year 11 pupils attended workshops organised by staff from both schools.

A spokesman said the youngsters benefitted from the experience and that it was a great example of pupils working together.
