Penketh Sixth Form Performs Othello

Seven sixth form students performed their version of Othello for Merton College Oxford.
They did an exceptional job and had rave reviews from the staff at School's Shakespeare Festival and Oxford University, not to mention Chris Grace, the director of the School Shakespeare Festival.

Penketh High School performs their exceptional Othello for Merton College alumni.
As part of Merton College Alumni Weekend, Penketh High School will travel from Warrington to perform their half hour Othello, directed by Simone Mallon and Lisette Wright and first performed as part of the 2010 Festival at Contact Theatre, Manchester.
This outstanding young cast delivers an inventive, intense and moving version of Othello - this is Shakespeare as you have never seen it before.
The production will be followed by a lecture on the play by Professor Richard McCabe.
