A-Level Dance is a study option for students with a keen interest at KS5. It is led by the Head of Dance Miss Salisbury and takes place in the Dance Studio. This course builds on prior learning from G.C.S.E and again explores all aspects of performance, choreography and theoretical understanding. Modules include anatomy and physiology, dance history, choreography in context, the dancer in action and solo performance. It is a thorough yet enjoyable syllabus with an emphasis on independent learning and exploration.

As part of their KS5 course, all dance students are welcomed into the Sixth Form dance company 'Altitude', via which there are a number of performance opportunities.
