Every course we deliver gives the opportunity to utilise our new apple mac facilities and the dedicated screening room, which is ideal for showing film to enhance the study of media & film.

Subjects are taught by 3 specialist teachers, with the aid of a dedicated support team.

Some media students are able to take the opportunity to work on school media projects – films etc, or in workshops provided by Aim Higher. Pupils are actively encouraged to take responsibility for a slot on Red Rose Radio or to come to the after school screenings of films in the Firehouse cinema.

Sixth form groups may go on trips to the Cornerhouse independent cinema in Manchester.
