Learning for Life Key Stage 4

At Key Stage Four all pupils study RE and Citizenship as a short course (which make it a full GCSE) and is studied over 3 periods a fortnight. Citizenship involves pupils completing active citizenship coursework which is worth 60% of the final examination mark. The remaining 40% is 1 written paper. Religious Education involves pupils completing a written paper which is worth 100%.

GCSE Examinations Offered:
• Edexcel Religion and the study of one religion (Short Course)
• Edexcel Citizenship (Short Course)
In addition all pupils study modules in:
• Careers and Work Experience
• Sex, relationships education
• Drug education
