The curriculum approach is generally product design based.  Year 7 work has been integrated in the opening minds curriculum but still follows a Design Technology National Curriculum approach.  Years 8 and 9 follow national curriculum Design Technology that concentrates mainly on Product Design and Graphic Product type projects.  This is particularly the case in Year 9 as pupils gain a greater understanding of the type of work they could undertake at GCSE level.
