The school has a partnership agreement with the college to enable our students to take extra options and diplomas at Warrington Collegiate.
Please contact S.Wright at Penketh High School for further details.

All learners were recently sent a copy of the Partnership Responsibilities for your son / daughter participating in the Xtra Options or Diploma programme at Warrington Collegiate as part of their curriculum this year. This document is used for all learners enrolled on curriculum outside of their home school and does not directly relate to Warrington Collegiate. It has been brought to our attention that you have not given consent for your son / daughter to leave the College premises at lunch or break times.
It is imperative that I draw your attention to the environment your son / daughter is studying in; College is a post 16 environment and as a result we do not have the measures and restrictions in place that you may find in a school. This is an open site and although we ask that 14-16 learners refrain from leaving the site at lunchtime we do not have the capacity to prevent them. The programme at Warrington Collegiate provides the opportunity for a more adult experience and requires an emotional maturity and responsibility for the learner.
If you do not wish your son / daughter to leave the site then the agreement will need to be taken between yourself and your son / daughter. If you have reservations regarding such an agreement we may need to review your son / daughters place on the programme and readiness to be in the College environment.
We have enclosed your agreement and would appreciate it if you could review the document, if you feel you are better informed and able to change your consent, please do so and return to –
